COVID-19 Updates

The Vernon Snowmobile Association trails and facilities will be open as long as we are able to remain in compliance with BC Provincial Heath Orders and Regulations.

We all know the importance of remaining active for mental and physical wellbeing but for our trails and facilities to remain open we must all act responsibly. The Vernon Chalet and Armstrong Cabin are open but riders use them at their own risk. Please observe the COVID-19 information posted at the facilities and take all necessary precautions to protect yourself and others using the facilities.

Check back regularly throughout the season for updates.

You've seen it a million times in 2020 but it needs to be said, maintaining a safe distance starts in the parking lot and continues throughout the day while at the cabins and when stopping to chat on the trails.

Masks must be worn when you are not able to maintain safe physical distancing or when inside the Silver Star Chalet and Armstrong Cabin.

COVID-19 Safety Plan

The Vernon Snowmobile Association (VSA) and the British Columbia Snowmobile Federation (BCSF) have developed Best Practices for operating while in a COVID-19 environment.
